Deep cranberry, inky navy and a gold filigree brooch — the richest, most grown-up hat in the collection.
The band is built in three layers. At the top, a deep cranberry fabric with a soft, raw edge and a hint of bandana print peeking through. Below it, a navy print with tiny florals and fine stripes in blush and slate. At the bottom, a slim dusty-pink cord finishes the line. Pinned at the front is a gold filigree flower brooch set with blush and amethyst-toned stones. At the back, the cranberry is tied in a full bow, with tails of navy and blue print and the pink cord trailing past the brim.
Underneath is a natural tan woven straw fedora — pinched crown, wide brim, the shape that flatters nearly everyone. Cranberry and navy are a classic pairing that reads polished rather than playful, so this one carries easily from summer into early fall.

Finding Your Fit
Wrap a soft tape measure around your head where a hat naturally sits — just above the ears and about a finger's width above your eyebrows. That measurement is your hat size. This one fits 56–58 cm (22–22.8 in), and the inner drawstrings let you take it in if you're at the smaller end or expecting wind. If you measure above 58 cm it will perch rather than settle, so it's worth checking before you order.
What a Wide Brim Actually Does
A wide brim shades your face, your ears and the back of your neck — the three places that catch the most sun and get forgotten most often. It doesn't replace sunscreen, but it means you reapply less and squint less, which is why people who spend real time outdoors own one.
How to Wear It
Cranberry and navy go with nearly everything in a closet: crisp white, cream knits, denim, camel and olive. Wear it with a navy striped tee and white jeans, a burgundy maxi dress, or a denim jacket on a cool late-summer evening. The gold brooch pairs nicely with gold jewelry. Good for vineyard visits, football tailgates, farmers' markets, fall festivals and travel.
One of One
Every hat that leaves this studio is layered by hand, one at a time. The fabrics, cord and brooch on this one were chosen and placed for this hat alone. There is no second run and no restock — when it sells, it's gone.
Care
Spot clean gently with a barely damp cloth, working around the band and the brooch rather than over them. Never soak or scrub it. Store it crown-down or lightly stuffed with tissue so the brim keeps its line, and keep it out of hot cars and damp rooms — heat and moisture are what warp straw for good.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the brooch?
A gold filigree flower brooch set with blush and amethyst-toned stones, pinned to the front of the band.
Is there another one of these?
No. The trim is layered on by hand, so this exact hat is a one-off and won't be remade.
Will it fit me?
It fits 56–58 cm (22–22.8 in). Measure just above your ears before ordering, and use the inner drawstrings to snug it up.
Can I wear it into fall?
Yes. The deep cranberry and navy feel right in September and October, especially with a denim jacket or a light knit.
