Turquoise opens above a thicket of yellow-green, magenta, and rust. Below, hot pink, chartreuse, violet, and deep plum sweep across the surface in scraped and dragged layers. Look closely and earlier colors emerge through newer ones in fine, bright lines. Step back and the marks gather into the feeling of a field in bloom.

A note from Natalie
There's something about wildflowers that has always spoken to me. They don't ask permission to grow. They don't worry about matching the flower beside them. They simply grow where they are planted, each one completely different, and somehow they are even more beautiful together.
I wanted each painting in this collection to feel a little wild and imperfect, full of color, movement and its own personality. No two are alike, but when you see them together, they belong. There is beauty in being exactly who we are.
Carefully sent from my studio to your home
Your painting is wrapped and padded for transit and shipped from Natalie Adams Hegwood Studio. It is photographed in natural light to represent its color as closely as possible; slight differences between screens and the original canvas are normal.
Display away from direct sunlight. Dust gently with a dry, soft brush or cloth; avoid sprays, solvents, and glass cleaner.
