Red Print + Denim Hand-Embellished Straw Fedora Hat – One of a Kind
Warm red print, sunny lace and faded denim, finished with a turquoise flower.
The band is built in three layers. At the top, a red, mustard and black block-print cotton with diamond and floral motifs, its edges left soft and a little raw. Below it runs a bright yellow lattice lace, and under that a strip of light-wash denim with a frayed bottom edge. At the front sits the detail that pulls it all together: a gold-set flower charm studded with turquoise stones. At the back, the print, the lace and the denim are knotted into a loose bow with tails that trail past the brim.
Underneath is a natural tan woven straw fedora — pinched crown, wide brim, the shape that flatters nearly everyone. Red, gold and denim blue is a happy, sun-baked combination: a little bohemian, a little western, and very summer.

Finding Your Fit
Wrap a soft tape measure around your head where a hat naturally sits — just above the ears and about a finger's width above your eyebrows. That measurement is your hat size. This one fits 56–58 cm (22–22.8 in), and the inner drawstrings let you take it in if you're at the smaller end or expecting wind. If you measure above 58 cm it will perch rather than settle, so it's worth checking before you order.
What a Wide Brim Actually Does
A wide brim shades your face, your ears and the back of your neck — the three places that catch the most sun and get forgotten most often. It doesn't replace sunscreen, but it means you reapply less and squint less, which is why people who spend real time outdoors own one.
How to Wear It
This is the brightest hat in the collection, so let it do the talking. Pair it with white linen, a chambray shirt, a denim jacket or a simple sundress in cream or rust. The denim strip picks up anything blue; the red and mustard play beautifully with terracotta, olive and warm browns. Good for festivals, farmers' markets, beach days, porch afternoons and any outfit that needs a little more color.
One of One
Every hat that leaves this studio is layered by hand, one at a time. The print, lace, denim and turquoise charm on this one were chosen and placed for this hat alone. There is no second run and no restock — when it sells, it's gone.
Care
Spot clean gently with a barely damp cloth, working around the lace, the denim and the charm rather than over them. Never soak or scrub it. Store it crown-down or lightly stuffed with tissue so the brim keeps its line, and keep it out of hot cars and damp rooms — heat and moisture are what warp straw for good.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the charm?
A gold-set flower studded with turquoise stones, sitting at the front of the band where the lace meets the denim.
Is there another one of these?
No. The trim is layered on by hand, so this exact hat is a one-off and won't be remade.
Will it fit me?
It fits 56–58 cm (22–22.8 in). Measure just above your ears before ordering, and use the inner drawstrings to snug it up.
Will the denim keep fraying?
The frayed edge is intentional and settles after the first few wears. If a long thread works loose, trim it with small scissors rather than pulling it.
