Most hat bands are ribbon. This one is built from scarves, with the softness and movement only fabric gives. A pink bandana print sits on top, over a bright orange floral scarf edged with white rickrack and a slim black band underneath. A dangling pearl charm hangs at the front, and at the back the pink and orange scarves are tied in a full bow with long, flowing tails.
The ivory straw keeps all that color fresh rather than loud. It's a beach-day, garden-party, vacation-photo hat. Like every hat we make, there is only one.

Finding Your Fit
Run a soft tape measure around your head just above the ears and a finger's width above the eyebrows. That's your hat size. This fits 56–58 cm (22–22.8 in), with inner drawstrings to tighten it if you're at the smaller end or expecting wind. Above 58 cm it will sit high on the head.
How to Style It
The band is bright enough to be the whole outfit. Pair it with a white sundress, a linen set, or plain denim and a white tee, and let the hat carry the color. A natural for beach days, resort trips, garden parties and brunch on the patio.
Care
Gently spot clean with a barely damp cloth and air dry. Never soak it. Ivory straw shows marks more than natural tan, so store it crown-down in a clean spot or lightly stuffed with tissue, and keep it out of hot cars.
